DIY Chalkboard Paint

You Will Need:
Flat finish latex paint
Unsanded grout
Mixing bowl
Paint stirrer (or you can use an old pencil like I did lol)
Roller
150-grit sandpaper
Chalk
Sponge

Instructions:
1. Mix 1 cup of paint and 2 Tablespoons of grout in the mixing bowl
2. If you are painting part of a wall, tape off the area you want to paint - I was only painting a board (I used the bottom of an old, broken drawer)
3. Paint the surface, doing a small area at a time and overlapping several times
4. Allow to dry, apply a second coat, and allow to dry again
5. Smooth with 150-grit sandpaper, wipe off dust
6. Rub the entire surface with a piece of chalk and wipe away residue with a slightly damp sponge
