Carpet Freshener

2 Cups Baking Soda
2 TBS of my favorite body spray

1 EMPTY Container at least 1 quart size…..Large yogurt container works great …make
sure it has a lid that fits tightly and you can pierce holes in it.
(it will be used to make and store your carpet freshener)

Put the baking soda in the container then add the body spray, put the lid on a shake well to mix. (Check for lumps after about 5 minutes of shaking…if lumpy take the lid off carefully and stir with a table knife)
Cut small holes in the top if the lid and put back on container. (I chose not to poke holes in the container that I used. I put a piece of plastic wrap over the container and secured it with a rubber band and then poked holes in the plastic wrap.
Shake a nice thin layer of the mixture all over your carpet and let sit for about 15 minutes then vacuum. That’s it….. carpet is left smelling fresh without the big cost of store bought.

Thank you for all for allowing my things to be passed to so many!
