Southern Pecan Pie (A healthier version)

3 eggs
2/3 Cup of Raw Cane Sugar
1 Cup Wild Raw Honey
1/2 Cup Melted Butter
1 Cup Pecan Halves
1 9 inch Unbaked Pie Shell
Preheat Oven to 350
Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, dash of salt,Raw wild honey
and melted butter.
Add Pecans
Pour into unbaked pie shell
Bake for 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center comes out clean.
Cool and enjoy!

Makes a YUMMY breakfast!!!!
16 ounces of Ground sausage
1/2 cup onion, diced
4 potatoes, washed and diced, (really small pieces)
2/3 cup butter
2/3 cup flour
2/3 cup chicken or beef broth
2 1/2 cup milk or more
1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
Salt and Pepper to taste
16 of the large home-style buttermilk biscuits
(the pop and bake kind)
8 miniature pie tins
Preheat oven to 350
Wash, cut and dice potatoes first. Dice onions, then in a large skillet,
add sausage, crumble in to small pieces, add potatoes, and onion.
Cook on medium heat for about 15 to 20 minutes stirring so mixture
doesn't burn.
Meanwhile in a large saucepan, melt butter on medium heat,
and once melted add the flour and broth. Whisk together till
well blended. Slowly add in the milk, and continue to stir until
mixture thickens. Add more milk if too thick. Add seasoning
salt and salt and pepper to taste.
Add the sausage potato mixture to the gravy and stir well.
Set aside.
Roll the biscuits out, one at a time. Roll out one for bottom layer
a little bigger than the pie tin, and one that will go over the top.
After you roll out the biscuits, put it into the pie tin, fill it with the
gravy mixture, be careful not to get on edges. Top off with the
top biscuit and pinch edges together all around the top layer of
the pies. Do this with the rest of the biscuits.
If you don't have the pie tins, this will also work with a muffin tin.
Use one roll for the bottom of the tin, and half a roll for the top.
Bake for 15 minutes for the pies, and 13 for the muffin size.

Ice Cream In A Bag Less Than 10 minutes! A REFRESHING summer treat!

This is old I remember doing this back in school when I was little and when I do it with my kids they are amazed how fast it is lol ...

Here is what you will need to make homemade ice cream in a baggie:

2 Tablespoon stevia ( more or less depending on sweet tooth) can use sugar but save those calories!!!
1 cup half & half (or light cream)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup coarse salt or table salt(I used canning salt)
gallon-sized Ziploc bag
pint-sized Ziploc bag

Mix the stevia, half & half and vanilla extract together. Pour into a pint-sized Ziploc baggie. Make sure it seals tightly.

Now take the gallon-sized Ziploc bag and fill it up halfway with ice and pour the salt over the ice. Now place the cream filled bag into the ice filled bag and seal.

Make sure it is sealed tightly and start shaking. Shake for about 5 minutes (or 8 minutes if you use heavy cream.)

Open the gallon-sized bag and check to see if the ice cream is hard, if not keep shaking. Once the ice cream is finished, quickly run the closed pint-sized baggie under cold water to quickly clean the salt off the baggie.

Open the baggie and pop in a spoon.

Hope you enjoy your homemade ice cream in a baggie as much as we do!

What are you waiting for? Start TODAY!! You'll be there before you know it!!
Hey Loves~ One year ago today, I embarked on my "Journey to a Healthier Me" with Skinny Fiber. I wasn't sure what type of results I was going to get, or even if I was going to get any. All I really knew at that point was I was to take two capsules twice daily before my two biggest meal with an abundance of water. How hardcould that be? I was already taking various prescription drugs to "keep me healthy" what was four more.
We let me just tell you, those four capsules dramatically changed my life, all for the better. I was being treated by my PCP for Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Fibromylagia, Depression, and Anxiety; taking a small variety of prescription medications on a daily basis just to function. In addition to having those few minor medical problems, I was at risk for another, obesity. According to my BMI, 29.9, which is overweight, it is also .1 from being obese; no way I was going there again. At my heaviest, I was almost 300 pounds, after losing 123 pounds and keeping it off for 2 years, I swore I would never let myself go again. Well that didn't happen.
Then in September 2011, while seeing my doctor for chronic pain and numbness in my hands, he put me on medical leave indefinitely for the conditions listed above, less the IBS. It was a that moment my whole world can crashing down, I had lost my independence. After seeing several specialist, an orthopedic that diagnosed me with several carpal tunnel in both hands, a psychiatrist & therapist for depression & anxiety, and a pain doctor for the fibro; it seemed I had to become dependent on them to make me better. Granted they did, as did the medications they had me taking or so I thought. This went on for almost two years, until I found Skinny Fiber.
Like most, I learned about Skinny Fiber on Facebook through a post shared by a friend; it had a link on it to join a weight loss support group that I clicked. Boy am I glad I did. I was on a weight loss regimen of my own, having gained 73 pounds back from being off work. I was fat and I was miserable, neither of which help when you are depressed, needless to say, what I was doing myself just wasn't enough, I needed help. I sent a request to join and was graciously accepted by Tasha, my guru. I started eating healthier, drinking more water, and doing her monthly challenges, despite the effort I was not seeing the results I was striving for. She would post recipes, wt. loss tips, and these testimonies of people taking a dietary supplement twice daily and were losing weight, even with making no changes to their lifestyle. I have to admit, at first I was skeptical, I mean really who sees these types of results after just a short amount of time? These incredible people taking Skinny Fiber, that's who. So after a few months, I decided to bite the bullet and order one bottle, after the first month I was sold, I knew there would be not returning the empty bottle.
I began my Skinny Fiber journey weighing in at 210 pounds, wearing a tight size 18 pant and 1X tops. I wasn't sure what to expect, I knew my body would go through a detox cycle, I just didn't know how long it take for me to start noticing or seeing results. For me it took three days; seriously. As someone who suffered from IBS, I was lucky to go to the bathroom once every 10 days, on day three, I had gone several times. By the end of my first month, I was no longer bloated and irritable, as IBS makes you, plus I had lost 6 pounds and 13 total body inches. I was sold, Skinny Fiber was working for me in ways I never imagined possible.
Fast forward to today. Thanks to Skinny Fiber, eating healthy, daily workouts, a lot of water, and sheer determination; I have lost 48 pounds, 22 pounds of fat, and 108 total body inches. I no longer suffer the ill-effects of my IBS. I no longer take meds for my depression and anxiety. I mean how can you be depressed when you see a totally different person standing before you? My BMI is now at 26.2, which is still considered over-weight according to the charts in the doctors office; but you know what, I don't care what it says, I know how I feel. I feel and look healthy. I love the energy, stamina, and confidence Skinny Fiber has given me, it has helped me not only to get down to 162 pounds, it has also helped me love the person I am becoming. If you are ready to begin your Journey, I would love to walk it with you.

How many folks do you know who say they don't want to drink anything before going to bed because they'll have to get up during the night.

Heart Attack and Water - I never knew all of this ! Interesting.......
Something else I didn't know ... I asked my Doctor why people need to urinate so much at night time. Answer from my Cardiac Doctor - Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are upright (legs swell). When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc) seeks level with the kidneys, it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier. This then ties in with the last statement!
I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your body, but this was news to me. Correct time to drink water...

Very Important. From A Cardiac Specialist!
Drinking water at a certain time maximizes its effectiveness on the body
2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion
1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure
1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack
I can also add to this... My Physician told me that water at bed time will also help prevent night time leg cramps. Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse.

Mayo Clinic Aspirin Dr. Virend Somers, is a Cardiologist from the Mayo Clinic, who is lead author of the report in the July 29, 2008 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
Most heart attacks occur in the day, generally between 6 A.M. and noon. Having one during the night, when the heart should be most at rest, means that something unusual happened. Somers and his colleagues have been working for a decade to show that sleep apnea is to blame.
1. If you take an aspirin or a baby aspirin once a day, take it at night.
The reason: Aspirin has a 24-hour "half-life"; therefore, if most heart attacks happen in the wee hours of the morning, the Aspirin would be strongest in your system.
2. FYI, Aspirin lasts a really long time in your medicine chest, for years, (when it gets old, it smells like vinegar).
Please read on...
Something that we can do to help ourselves - nice to know. Bayer is making crystal aspirin to dissolve instantly on the tongue.
They work much faster than the tablets.
Why keep Aspirin by your bedside? It's about Heart Attacks.
There are other symptoms of a heart attack, besides the pain on the left arm. One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating; however, these symptoms may also occur less frequently.

Note: There may be NO pain in the chest during a heart attack.
The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.
If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water.
Afterwards: - Call 911. - Phone a neighbor or a family member who lives very close by.- Say "heart attack!" - Say that you have taken 2 Aspirins.
Take a seat on a chair or sofa near the front door, and wait for their arrival and ...DO NOT LIE DOWN!
A Cardiologist has stated that if each person after receiving this e-mail, sends it to 10 people, probably one life could be saved!
I have already shared this information. What about you?
Do forward this message. It may save lives!

YAHOOOOOO , Jennifer!

My testimonial along with my meds before and after...
Just last year, I was on more medication than any 36 year old should have been...2 injections for rheumatoid arthritis along with three meds by mouth for RA and inflammation, thyroid medication, one for my nerves, one for blood pressure/abnormal heart rhythms, and estrogen. Since Skinny Fiber, I am down 26 pounds and about the same in inches. Since Skinny Fiber has helped me to lose weight, I have been able to get all meds except for two prescriptions for my thyroid. I had my thyroid removed several years ago, so I will have to be on those for the rest of my life. Without a thyroid, weight loss is very slow and this is the first time in a very long time that I have even been able to lose weight and not gain it right back. Of course, I am not near where I want to be, but I know with Skinny Fiber that it is now possible. I am not claiming that Skinny Fiber is a miracle pill, but for me, it kind of has been. It is the first product that I have found that helps to detox and purify the body. It doesn't contain any chemicals or stimulants like most products on the market, so there is never any worry about a jittery or shaky side effect. It is completely natural and safe, and for me that was very important being that I had tried many other products in the past with adverse reactions. Once I experienced what Skinny Fiber did for me, I decided to invest the $10 to become a distributor (yes, I said TEN dollars). Purchasing it was the first best decision I have made in a very long time and becoming a distributor was the second. I cannot begin to tell you how much of a blessing this company has been to me and my family. Skinny Fiber has helped me to lose weight and improve my health AND has provided me a way to be a stay at home mother and contribute weekly to the financial needs of my family. The product and the company are simply amazing! Risk free 30 day /90 day guarantee
