BEEF, BEANS & TATORS CASSEROLE
2 lbs ground beef
4 medium potatoes
2 C green beans
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can french onion soup
1 medium onion
shredded cheese (your choice - this was sharp cheddar)
crumble & brown ground beef. (keep some water in the skillet, it helps the crumbling be more uniform!) drain. put back in pan with a little water & season to your taste with seasoned salt & onion powder. simmer until water has evaporated, stirring regularly. turn off heat.
quarter & slice potatoes. rinse. strain. mix in 13X9 baking pan.
in a bowl, mix together both soups, onion & hamburger. pour over beans & taters in baking pan, covering them completely with mixture. cover with foil & bake at 350* until potatoes are tender. (stick fork in them to check)
after potatoes are tender, sprinkle desired amount of shredded cheese over top, place back in oven until melted.
