1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs, beaten
2/3 c. water
1 lb. Italian sausage, cooked and drained
1 small onion, chopped fine
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms (optional)
1 c. pizza sauce or 1 c. spaghetti sauce
1 1/2 c. of shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 bell pepper, thinly sliced
Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat a pizza pan or baking sheet with cooking spray and flour.
In medium bowl, mix together flour, Italian seasoning, eggs, salt, pepper and water. Mix to combine well.
Pour batter into prepared pan and spread around to edges with a rubber spatula to coat bottom of pan evenly.
Scatter meat, mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions on top of batter.
Place in oven and bake 20 minutes. Remove and gently spread pizza sauce around and on top of veggies and meat. Sprinkle cheese on top of sauce.
Bake an addition 5-8 minutes and cheese is completely melted.
