CHICKEN FLORENTINE




Ingredients:
2 lbs skinless chicken pieces frozen
1 1/2 cups water
1 lb fresh spinach, or two (10 oz) packages of frozen spinach, whole leaf
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Season to taste how you like your chicken

Alfredo Sauce:
Use jar sauce or homemade recipe below
1/4 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

Place the chicken in the bottom of the crock pot.
season to taste and salt & pepper on top.
cover with water cook on high for 2 hours in crock pot
When chicken is done add bow tie noodles (Farfalle noodles) and replace lid and cook till noodles are just about done about 30 minutes, place spinach on top and stir. Cook till spinach is done.

Drain water and place in casserole dish

Alfredo sauce
Directions
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in parsley.

Pour Alfredo sauce over chicken and noodles and stir together, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.

Place in 350 degree oven to intermingle the sauce, chicken and noodles for about 15 minutes.
